CODA — old balance ± movements ≠ new balance
An ordinary Belgian statement — one movement short. The 2.1 records add up to 1 000.00 − 250.00 + 1 500.00 = 2 250.00, but the "8" new-balance record declares 2 200.00: 50.00 of booked movement never made it into the file. This is the check that catches a truncated CODA, a dropped record or a mis-read debit/credit sign, and it is the reason the previous sample must NOT be checked the same way.

The defects it carries
- CODA-BALAccount BE68539007547034: old balance ± movements (2250) ≠ new balance (2200).
Quoted verbatim from the validator, not paraphrased.
Every party, IBAN and amount below is fictitious. The IBANs are structurally valid — they pass the mod-97 check — but they belong to no real account.

How we know these results hold
Every file in this library is run through the site's own validator on each build. The expected result stated above is asserted by an automated test — if a file stopped matching what this page claims, the build would fail. Two inherited fixtures were repaired this way before publication: three IBANs failed the mod-97 check and several names used characters outside the basic SEPA character set.
CODA statement (Belgium)
- CODA — Belgian statement with a valid structured communication
- CODA — globalised salary run (booked total + its details)
- CODA — wrong mod-97 check digits and a statement that does not balance
- CODA — Belgian OGM (+++…+++) and ISO 11649 RF reference, both checksummed
- CODA — separate application: balances zeroed by design (§7.2.1)
