The invoice currency (BT-5) and the VAT accounting currency (BT-6) must both use a three letter code from the ISO 4217 list. Obsolete or invented codes are rejected. This is a Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 rule. It applies on top of the EN 16931 core standard, on invoices exchanged over the Peppol network.
What this rule checks
The invoice currency (BT-5) and the VAT accounting currency (BT-6) must both use a three letter code from the ISO 4217 list. Obsolete or invented codes are rejected.
How to fix it
Correct cbc:DocumentCurrencyCode and cbc:TaxCurrencyCode so that they carry an active ISO 4217 code such as EUR, SEK or NOK.
