The MIME type declared for an embedded attachment (BT-125) must belong to the restricted subset of the IANA media type registry accepted by Peppol. Free-form or exotic media types are rejected. This is a Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 rule. It applies on top of the EN 16931 core standard, on invoices exchanged over the Peppol network.
What this rule checks
The MIME type declared for an embedded attachment (BT-125) must belong to the restricted subset of the IANA media type registry accepted by Peppol. Free-form or exotic media types are rejected.
How to fix it
Set the mimeCode attribute of cbc:EmbeddedDocumentBinaryObject to an accepted value such as application/pdf, image/png, image/jpeg or text/csv.
