The XRechnung extension recommends that a descriptive invoice line field such as the Item description (BT-154) follow its guidance; this is an advisory check rather than a hard error. This is an XRechnung rule (German KoSIT CIUS). It applies on top of EN 16931 and Peppol, and is mandatory for B2G invoicing in Germany.
