Two regulatory deadlines currently change what a financial file must contain: France makes e-invoicing mandatory on 1 September 2026 — reception for every business, issuing for large and mid-sized companies — and SEPA requires structured addresses on payments from 15 November 2026. SEPA: the 15 November 2026 structured-address deadline
From 15 November 2026, an address in a SEPA payment must be structured or hybrid. Free-text-only addresses stop being accepted.
