Quando é usada

Preencha-o quando o tipo altera o que a conta permite: uma poupança que não pode ser debitada directamente, uma conta de empréstimo, uma conta de liquidação de cartão. É opcional na SEPA, mas bancos e ERP usam-no para encaminhar e reconciliar.
